Porto Santo Stefano

Porto Santo Stefano is located on the north-western promontory of Argentario and Porto Ercole is one of the two major towns that form the town of Grosseto. The town is divided into four historic districts: the Cross, the fortress, the Pilarella and the Valley. Among these districts every mid-August there is the "battle for the Palio Marinaro," a 4-km rowing regatta with boats known as "Guzzi".
