The Tuscan Archipelago is made up of seven major islands, of which the largest is the Isle of Elba, and the smaller islands located between Tuscany and Corsica, the archipelago is bathed by four seas: the Tyrrhenian Sea to the south, from the canal to the west of Corsica, from the Ligurian Sea to the north and the east channel of Piombino. The largest islands are: the island of Gorgona, Capraia, Elba, Pianosa, Montecristo, Giglio and Giannutri. |
